What we do

Grumitt Wade Mason Chartered Surveyors & Architectural Consultants are regulated by RICS and provide wide ranging surveying, consultancy and architectural services across Brighton, Hove and most of Sussex.

The Team

Founded in 2004 and with offices in the city of Brighton and Hove, Steyning and Horsham, Grumitt Wade Mason Chartered Surveyors & Architectural Consultants provide a wide range of surveying and consultancy services across East and West Sussex from residential surveys to designing and project managing commercial refurbishment projects.

Mark Mason

Mark Mason, BSc (Hons) MRICS CIAT is a Qualified Chartered Building Surveyor with over 25 years’ experience. He is a Director of Grumitt Wade Mason and one of the founding members.



Michael Barker

Michael Barker BSc MRICS is a Chartered Building Surveyor at Grumitt Wade Mason. Michael joined Grumitt Wade Mason in 2012. After becoming Chartered in 2017, Michael has progressed within the firm and took a Directors role in January 2023.



John Wade

A founder member of Grumitt Wade Mason, John is a Chartered Building Surveyor, Registered Valuer and a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).


